ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Iran, as the relations between the two countries are deeply rooted in our historical, cultural and religious commonalities.
Talking to Iran ambassador to Pakistan Ali Reza Haghighian who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Wednesday, the President of Pakistan urged the need for further strengthening the bilateral equation especially trade and economic ties for the mutual benefit of the people of the two countries and the region.
ambassador conveyed to the President the greetings and good wishes of the Iranian leadership. The President thanked the ambassador for his gesture and conveyed his good wishes to the newly elected Iranian President and the people of Iran.
