Four more people were killed and five others injured in early Tuesday morning incidents of firing in Defence and Korangi areas of Karachi, bring today’s death toll to nine.
Police and rescue officials said a firing incident took place in Korangi industrial area where armed men on motorbike shot dead two people and injured two others in the attack.
In another similar incident, police said, two people were shot dead and three injured in a drive-by attack at Karachi Defence area early morning.
At least nine deaths have been reported in the city since overnight in fresh wave of violence.
