KARACHI: Four alleged terrorists were killed in an encounter on Hub River Road while huge cache of firearms and explosives were also recovered from their possession, Crime Investigation Department (CID) police said.
According to in-charge CID Chaudhry Aslam, the operation was conducted on a tip-off during which four alleged terrorists were wounded in an exchange of fire while two policemen also sustained injuries.
The terrorists, who are said to be affiliated with a banned outfit, succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, Chaudhry Aslam said.
A huge amount of firearms, and an explosive-laden vehicle were also seized, he added.
