ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Asif Sunday said that many countries including Turkey, Denmark, America etc had shown interest to cooperate in energy sector with Pakistan.
He said that opportunities had been offered to the countries in energy sector.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had emphasized on trade rather than aid during meeting with different heads of states.
He said that Pakistani premier forcefully reminded the United Nations (UN) to play its vital role to resolve the issue of Kashmir in accordance with resolution of 1948.
He said that government was taking serious steps for keeping peace in the region, adding that dialogue offer to the Taliban should not be considered as weakness of the government.
He said that maintaining peace in the country was top priority of the government.
He said that Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was committed to develop friendly relations with the neighboring countries
