Sindh Rangers snubs political party's claims

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Tuesday rejected as misleading the claims made by ‘a political party’ at a press conference against the raid on its office earlier today, Geo News reported.

“Indian made weapons have been recovered from the office of the political party,” said the spokesman of Sindh Rangers in a statement in an obvious reference to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

Earlier today, the MQM heavily criticized Pakistan Rangers Sindh for raiding one of its offices in Landhi as part of ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.

The Rangers spokesman said that the recovery of Indian-made arms proves presence of anti-state elements in the country. The party should explain the presence of these weapons in their office, he added.
