Police in Chinese have rescued 92 children and detained 301 people on suspicion of trafficking offences, in one of the largest raids of its kind in the county.
The operation, which also resulted in two women being freed, involved raids in 11 provinces, according to China Central Television and Xinhua, the state news agency. It followed a six-month investigation into a massive criminal network whose members are accused of kidnapping, buying and selling children around the country.
